Rental Essentials: Cozy Comforts & Optional Extras

17ft yurt: Offers cottage-sized accommodation (220 sq ft) with space for a double bed, couch, dining table, and kitchenette.

Monthly Cost: $1900, with a minimum 3-month rental period.

Includes: Wooden platform, outside deck and wooden door.

Additional Costs: $1000 installation fee covers site prep, gravel, pier stones, deck & platform assembly. Railing and stairs available at extra cost.

Deposit: $500 (refundable).

Note: Prices exclude travel costs and tax. Monthly fees due on setup day.

Optional Add-ons:

Wood Stove: $300/month in spring or fall.

Felt Panels: $300/month in winter. Wood stove usable alone in fall.

The platform features 8 sections made from sanded and oiled tongue-and-groove boards, which are easy to clean and feel warm underfoot.
Measuring 10ft x 13ft, the deck comes in three sections that fit securely together.
We prepare the site with sand or gravel beneath 17 pier stones, ensuring the deck is ideally supported and leveled 18 inches off the ground.
For sloped areas, wooden safety railings and stairs can be added for safety.
An CSA approved chimney and wood stove can be fitted with our custom yurt chimney support kit.
(WET certification will be required to approve for insurance purposes)
We provide locally made felt panels which are the traditional felt covering of yurts in Central Asia. Our felt panels are made by Belfast Mini Mills in PEI. Each panel is hemmed with jute edging.
Extremely durable and hardwearing they provide an natural and breathable insulation. The felt panels are enclosed by the cotton canvas to protect it from the weather.
